Our Story

We like to say we met the old fashioned way, at a bar...twice. It may have taken two chance encounters, separated by months and boroughs, to finally bring us together, but it was always love at first sight(s). And as the saying goes, "love is worth waiting for." 

The Catskill Mountains are very special to us - hiking Overlook, skiing Belleayre, tubing the Esopus, and spotting eagles, bears, and chipmunks. We couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate. We look forward to raising a glass on August 5, surrounded by friends, family, and the mountains we love.

Welcome Dinner

Friday 6:30PM

We’ve never had this many people we love in one place, so we want to squeeze in some extra time to hang out.

Wedding Ceremony

Our ceremony begins promptly at 4PM.
Keep in mind the ceremony is outdoors, and though you will be covered by a canopy of trees, sun-protection is still advised. 

Reception

SATURDAY 6:00 - 10:00pm

We'll move indoors for dinner, dancing, and of course a few embarrassing speeches. 

After Party

SATURDAY 10:00PM

We'll continue the festivities at the bar of The Catskills Seasons Inn. 
Shuttles will bring guests back to the select few hotels at midnight. 

Brunch

SUNDAY 10:30AM - 12:00PM

Please join us for a pool party at the Cohn’s Country House to soothe your hangover with eggs, coffee, and mimosas, and to share your stories from the big night. RSVP here. 
Following brunch, we invite you to join us for our favorite summer activity, tubing!!!

Catskill Seasons Inn

We have 22 rooms blocked at this inexpensive, “unique and charming” inn. This is the place to be as we will be having the after party at their bar! Book fast for the room with the bed 3 feet from the jacuzzi!
Transportation to and from the welcome dinner on Friday and the wedding on Saturday will be provided at this location. 

Four Corners Country Inn

We have 8 rooms blocked at this cute bed and breakfast. 
Transportation to and from the welcome dinner on Friday and the wedding on Saturday will be provided at this location.

(The Copperhood is beautiful and just up the road from Friday's dinner and Sunday's brunch. We have a room block here.)

Area Attractions

There's so much to do in the Catskills! We know we're keeping you busy with all of our wedding weekend activities, but if you're spending more time in the area, here's a list of some of our favorite restaurants, hikes, and shops!

Overlook Mountain Hike

This hike has one of the best views from a fire tower in the Catskill Mountains and is a moderately difficult old carriage road trail. 5 miles roundtrip, 3,140 ft elevation.

Phoenicia Diner

A classic American diner on NY Route 28, serving local seasonal Catskills & Hudson Valley food. Breakfast all day, lunch 11-5, bar/lounge Fri-Sat 7-10pm.

Phoenicia Main Street

Take a stroll down Main Street in Phoenicia and check out the shops before grabbing a cone at the Ice Cream Station or a slice at Brio's

Tinker Town Tubing

The course contains the best and most extreme whitewater the Esopus has to offer. Depending on the water height an average tubing trip takes between 1 1/2 to 2 hours. www.towntinker.com. We recommend sneaking a bottle of sangria.

Peekamoose

Gramercy Tavern in the Catksills. Awesome burger, great cocktails, and you can even roast a marshmallow outside

Esopus Scenic Train

The Catskill Mountain Railroad Esopus Scenic Train is a 5-mile round trip between Mt. Tremper and Boiceville — a wonderful 45-minute scenic railroad excursion. www.catskillmtrailroad.com
